TUNA! Trip today took us around 25 miles where we put 22 tuna in the box. That was 2.4 fish per person, and all of these fish were averaging 15-20lbs. Really nice fish! We located fish in a patch of blue water and boated all of them in an area the size of a baseball diamond! Some of the other private boats out there caught fish, but we didn’t hear any big scores.
No real report on Salmon, other than the water is too warm and not many fish being caught.
New state regulations now restrict bottom fishing to less than 20 fathoms. Cabezon can no longer be retained either. Have no fear, we can still locate and catch plenty of great bottom fish. Come book a trip at Tradewinds Charters. Make usre you request the Amigo!
