It was a great day on the water overall! Ocean and weather were very enjoyable. The fishing was tough, but we managed to get nine fish for nine people fishing. It was challenging come mid day, as the drift came to a complete stop. We caught a record number of large dog fish(sharks), which took a toll on our tackle and fisherman. It was an all day battle, but every minute was a whole lot of fun. We ended up with nice fish, including two in the mid 40 inch range. Once again, lots of happy people. The season looks like it’s going to be going strong, so get on the phone and book a trip for next weekend. Remember, the offshore season only runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday every week, so make your plans accordingly. Don’t forget to request, The Amigo, with Tradewinds Charters Depoe Bay.
